I’m not a professional blogger. But I make blogs and I do have ideas of blogging. I study the well-known blogs and try to gain knowledge about professional bloggers. While accessing different blogs and evaluating them, I found some super blogs with all characteristics that a blog should have. There are super successful bloggers with their excellent and influential blogs. There are some opposites too.
I find something missing in some blogs and maybe these are the reasons why these are not so successful. Following are some of the mistakes that I have observed:
- You do not make it clear what do want to speak to your readers.
- You forget to reveal your personal information and experience.
- The chosen topic for the post is very broad in nature.
- You do end your blog-post in a flow from general to specific.
- You just write but don’t talk to your audience.
- You do not try to solve readers’ problems of not getting a proper solutions.
- Your blog-posts do not carry a proper style with headers, relevant images, and proofs.
- You do not feel to update the contents if there are any technological or other changes.
- You do not check the grammar and plagiarism of your content.
- You fail to remain consistent in writing the post at regular intervals.
- You fail to implement SEO and other tools to increase organic readers with some offers or subscriptions.
I think, professional bloggers are experiencing many more mistakes which should be avoided. The mistakes mentioned above are some of them.
